I am just not a golfer, but an avid bicyclist I am. Would anyone be interested in a bike ride. We could possibly start at our old high school and ride to the ice cream store in Afton.

Is the ice cream store still in Afton?
I think it would be a nice casual ride for us non-golfers. We could have a starting point at our old high school and an ending point at the ice cream store in Afton. You wouldn't have to be a die hard bicyclist to come. Anyone could join in at any time and any place, even if it's around the block.
An early ride, ice cream and a bit of wine and appetizers sounds like a nice day to me.

A good freind of mine from Baytown told me there is another ice cream store in Afton. It is connected to the Afton House.

We're getting the bike ride set up! Judy and I will be taking a ride on the 15th to plan a route for those who wish to go the morning of our reunion.

Oh my gosh! Eric you cancelled the bike ride! I just ate four chocolate chip cookies. I planned on burning the calories tomorrow.

Oh Janel... I'm so sorry. After talking with Judy earlier, it just kind of seemed like there wasn't all that much interest and the weather was looking like it would be pretty nippy.

After all, it was really intended to allow a bunch of us to get together and reconnect. If it had been really nice out, there would have been the chance that maybe a few others would have just shown up.

Need to burn off those cookies. There are a few of us that will still be riding. If anyone else is still interested we will be meeting at the old High School @ 10:00. We will be taking Stagecoach out of town , picking up the bike trail on 95 heading into Afton.We'll stop for a bite to eat and head back. Anyone can hop on or off the trail at any time.
